John T. Hampton is a Senior Fund Advisor to the firm. John is a  seasoned financial executive with extensive internal corporate and portfolio management experience, as well as substantial experience in Investment Banking, handling various acquisitions, sales, and IPO’s. Well versed in domestic and international real estate, civil engineering, projects, and financial and asset management, he has served as a Chief Financial Officer to numerous companies where he has overseen hundreds of millions in assets, in charge of asset and portfolio management and inorganic growth. In real estate development, he has negotiated the purchase of 1,200 acres of land and designed and permitted over 1000 residential lots and several condominium projects, as well as overseen the acquisition and growth of a marina project in Mexico. He has successfully managed an additional $60M in capital projects as well though his development company, Weatherstone Development Corp. John is a graduate of University of Florida in Civil Engineering, and hold an MBA in Finance from NYU’s Stern School. He spent his early years in Blue Chip CSX and at a Wall Street Investment Bank.
