    APPROACH

    In every client engagement, we follow a strict 3-step process that ensures that we understand the project, the request, the circumstances and needs of the client before formally engaging, and that we are confident in the likelihood of a successful outcome for the client:


    1.  EVALUATION

    Collection, thorough evaluation, and objective discussion of due diligence information with the client is critical in understanding the objectives of the client and determining the overall viability, and the ultimate likelihood of success, of every project.


    2.  ENGAGEMENT

    Our standard Engagement Agreement defines our role and compensation, which is always performance based.  We will not engage on a project unless we have achieved a high degree of confidence that the adequate resources and competencies are available to perform on the contemplated transaction, and we do not commence work on any project without an executed formal agreement that clearly defines roles, responsibilities, and timelines.


    3.  STRUCTURE & PLACEMENT

    Engineering the optimal capital structure, and ensuring the placement of the most appropriate and economical components of debt and/or equity in the tiers of that structure, are critical to the success of any project and the fulfilment of the requirements of every client engagement.


    EXPERIENCE

     Our firm is comprised of seasoned partners with many years of relevant experience across various business disciplines, primarily in commercial and   residential real estate, including  banking, capital structuring, acquisitions, development, asset management, and strategic joint ventures. 


     From real estate development to large portfolios of operationally complex assets, we apply both short-term and long-term strategies to all   investments on behalf of our clients. We have invested throughout the risk spectrum from core to opportunistic transactions, and across the capital   stack including structuring of complex debt, equity, mezzanine, and preferred equity tranches.


     Since our inception, we've been engaged on hundreds of successful transactions, and that number continues to steadily grow. Through the years, our   core business has grown from primarily commercial capital advisory and placement, and now spans a wide range of financial, real estate, and business   services. Our mandate includes a significant, opportunistic focus on multi-family and single-family residential redevelopment and repositioning of   assets on behalf of numerous high-net worth individuals, family offices, and institutional funds, with a growing emphasis on principal co-investment.
